This is a full-time remote role for a Corporate Solicitor. The Corporate Solicitor will provide expert legal advice and support to businesses on a wide range of legal matters. The role consists of a broad existing caseload including share and asset disposals and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, partnership and limited liability partnership agreements and bank funding. Responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, conducting due diligence, and advising on corporate and commercial transactions. Additional tasks may involve supporting clients with regulatory compliance and providing tailored legal solutions aligned with their business objectives. You will need to be focused on building relationships with clients and introducers and be able to consistently deliver outstanding service and clear advice to clients.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in corporate law, including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).
  • Proficiency in Commercial Real Estate and Conveyancing, including property transactions, leases, and developments.
  • Experience in Labor and Employment Law, particularly in drafting employment contracts and providing litigation support.
  • Familiarity with Family Law and its implications for corporate and business scenarios is a plus.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to provide tailored legal advice.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling capabilities.
  • Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a remote professional environment.
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Solicitor qualification required. A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in corporate law and related fields is required.
