The Stock Control Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day stock management and commercial operations. This position involves coordinating stock processes, handling customer and supplier interactions, and ensuring accurate data maintenance, while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling telephone enquiries from external representatives and customers
  • Adding items to consignment and managed stock systems
  • Maintaining Appendix A records
  • Carrying out consignment stock cleanses
  • Managing supplier price increases (customer codes)
  • Implementing customer price increases (annual and quarterly)
  • Maintaining customer vendor records
  • Supporting the reduction of redundant stock
  • Managing external representatives' bootstock
  • Demonstrating commercial awareness, particularly around product profit margins
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Processing customer credits and supplier returns
  • Supporting and participating in stock taking activities
