HR Business Partner

At Rubix UK, we're looking for an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner who wants to be at the heart of the business, working alongside leaders, shaping decisions and turning people priorities into action.
This isn't an HR role where you'll sit on the sidelines.
You'll get close to the operation, understand what makes it tick and build trusted relationships with leaders and managers. You'll coach, challenge and influence, bringing practical, commercially focused people solutions that make a genuine difference.

The Role
As an HR Business Partner, you'll work with leaders across your business area to connect people, performance and commercial priorities.
You'll use your HR expertise, business understanding and people insight to help leaders make better decisions, build stronger teams and navigate change.
Whether you're supporting organisational transformation, developing talent, improving performance or tackling a complex employee relations challenge, you'll bring a pragmatic, confident and solutions-focused approach.
What You'll Be Doing
Building strong, trusted relationships with leaders and managers
Turning business priorities into clear, practical people plans
Coaching leaders to build their confidence and capability
Providing pragmatic advice on complex employee relations matters
Supporting organisational change, restructuring and transformation
Using people data to spot trends, risks and opportunities and turn insight into action
Driving talent, succession and workforce planning
Partnering with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Reward and People Operations to deliver joined-up solutions
Helping improve engagement, retention, capability and performance
Ensuring people decisions are commercially sound, consistent and legally compliant
Constructively challenging the status quo and helping leaders turn conversations into action
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong HR expertise with genuine commercial thinking.
You'll be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, confident working with senior stakeholders and equally happy moving between strategic priorities and the realities of day-to-day operations.
You'll bring:
Strong HR Business Partnering or senior generalist HR experience
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
The confidence to coach, influence and challenge senior leaders
Strong UK employment law and employee relations knowledge
Experience of organisational change and transformation
A strong commercial mindset and understanding of operational priorities
Confidence using people data and insight to influence decisions
A practical, solutions-focused approach
The ability to balance strategic thinking with getting things done
CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial distribution, logistics or another operational environment would be a real advantage.
