Having full P&L responsibility the Director will lead and manage day-to-day commercial and operational activities to deliver upon agreed financial targets, whilst maintaining a high-performance culture and high levels of customer and employee satisfaction. - Oversee key production, logistics and functional processes, demonstrating sufficient ability to assist the management team to resolve any, and all, challenges that they may face, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Monitoring & Reporting
β Maintain structured, periodical analytical review to allow effective decision making. To include: Daily operational KPI's and information pulses, Monthly reporting and review of customer, supplier, and functional activity, together with P&L performance and balance sheet controls. Leading
β Day-to-day leadership of the organization, guiding, developing & coaching the team continually improving organizational performance. Compliance
β Ensure compliance to legislative and industry requirements, employing ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO9001 managements systems to mitigate environmental, H&S or product liability risk. Key Skills / Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience across multiple functions, including customer facing roles, within businesses that specialise in the supply of Valves. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, business administration, or in a related field is preferred. Proven track record of delivering products or solutions to MRO, OEM or EPC customers, with a deep understanding of the sales process in these markets. Experience with large-scale projects, negotiations, and technical product solutions. Having successfully led a function through repeating ISO9001 management system audits. Commercial β Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand the P&L impact of all activity. Technical β Engineering competency sufficient to effect credible leadership of design, materials and other technical functions. Enterprise Resource Planning system competent. Exceptional, practical problem solving with the ability to coach team members with problem resolution.
