Key Responsibilities:
- Production and Repair of Valve assemblies utilising the following equipment subject to training / experience competency sign -off
- Abrasive Wheels + other air tools
- Low- & High-Pressure Valve Test Rigs
- Lathes
- Milling Machine
- Hand Power Tools
- Lapping Machine
- Metal washer
- Ultrasonic parts cleaner
- Shot Blaster
- Hand Tools
- Overhead Crane
- Reading of Engineering Drawings
- Measuring Equipment
Key Skills:
- Effective use of time and prioritisation of work in accordance with instructions from management.
- Maintaining accurate records (Test Certificates, work signoffs MRP records, production notes)
- To undertake any other duties as may be required which are appropriate to the role and competency of the employee.
- Follow policies and procedures in conjunction with quality management system.
- To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety requirements relevant to your work set out by Rubix, and following all company risk assessments and method statements.
- Always wearing all appropriate PPE in accordance with company Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Ensure that the workplace areas are kept clear, clean and tidy - high standard of housekeeping.
All ISO 14001 environmental requirements are met. - Undertake any training courses assigned to you by management to be competent in your role.
- Organisation and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
