As a Sales Stores Operative, you will be an essential member of a small effective Insite Team, delivering high-level Customer Service Engineering Support. Based at one of our Insites, ideally you will have a background/understanding in Manufacturing, MRO, PPE, Trade Counters, and Warehousing. However, full training will be provided, so don't let this inhibit you from applying! In essence, if you are a team player with stores and customer service experience, the ability, willingness, and aptitude to learn, then this could be the role for you!
The Site is an extremely dynamic, ever-changing, and demanding environment. The Insite Team and physical Stores infrastructure are currently going through significant progressive continuous improvements to the betterment of the inventory, customer service, and working environment. Your personal and professional investment will help evolve the procurement and availability of essential/critical materials in support of the Site. Role Purpose:
- Support consistent delivery of agreed levels of Customer Service.
- Support other Insite Team Members with enquiries resolving issues.
- Support the sourcing and procurement of Stock/Non-Stock material in line with customer requirements and demands.
- Monitoring and expedite material Back Orders.
- Replenishment of Inventory.
- Ensure all Goods Inward consignments of material are promptly and accurately Goods Receipted.
- Ensure all Stock is promptly identified, stowed, and transacted on the Inventory Management Systems.
- Ensure Engineering Work Order material is timely picked, collated, and co-ordinated for collection in line with schedules/priorities.
- Carry out Stocktaking as directed and in accordance with the Stocktaking Plan.
- Maintain the cleanliness, upkeep, security, and integrity of the dedicated Engineering Storerooms and site-wide material distribution points.
Working Hours: 8.00 - 16.30 - Mon to Fri, 30 min break, 40 hours per week

- Customer Service experience from a manufacturing/MRO/PPE background.
- Computer literate; Microsoft Office is essential (SAP experience desired) and capable of operating an integrated computer system.
- Experienced in a Warehousing/Stores Environment.
- Driving Licence.
- Forklift - Counter Balance Truck licence (Desirable).
