We specialise in optimising asset performance, including motors, gear boxes, pumps, machining, condition monitoring, and fabrication services. We are looking for a motivated individual to join us and further strengthen our fabrication team within our Deritend Middlesbrough facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Fabricating from a drawing or sketch and fully welding carbon steel/stainless steel structures including access platforms, ladders, handrailing, and general light to medium duty fabrications.
- On-site installation of carbon steel and stainless-steel structures.
- Ensuring that all company health and safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
- Occasionally working away for a short period of time.
- Disassembly and accurate re-assembly of industrial rotating equipment.
- Performing planned and predictive maintenance.
- Undertaking effective planning and prioritisation of workload wherever necessary.
- Working on-site in addition to the workshop when required (site working experience is a distinct advantage and suitable qualifications such as CCNSG passport is preferable).
- Having strong mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty and worn/damaged components and understand reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options.
- Understanding and operating in line with relevant legislation, company policy, and company procedures.
- Maintaining the required standards of housekeeping.
- Conforming to health and safety procedures and policies.
- Knowledge of industrial gearboxes and pumps, multi-skilled in basic electrical practices.
- Holding a UK driving license.
