The Role

Peter Campbell Sales Ltd, part of the Rubix Cutting & Machining division, is a leading supplier of high-performance cutting tools and technical machining solutions across the UK. We support a wide range of manufacturing sectors including aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, and precision engineering, helping customers improve productivity, reduce costs and optimise machining performance.

We are currently seeking a driven and technically capable Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while supporting and growing existing customer accounts. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will provide technical expertise and practical machining solutions directly on-site.

  • Identifying opportunities to introduce cutting tool and machining solutions
  • Providing technical advice on tooling selection, machining strategies and productivity improvements
  • Conducting on-site trials and performance evaluations
  • Achieving agreed sales and margin targets

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or machining/manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of cutting tools and metal machining processes
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A full UK driving licence
