Want to create industry-leading change and grow your career? Were looking for a dynamic Branch Business Manager to join our bespoke Customer Hub based in Wolverhampton. This is a varied role with plenty of room to make it your own. As well as delivering an exceptional standard of service to customers, youll be responsible for driving new business growth. Who we are We started with an ambition to disrupt the traditional model of European industrial distribution, and a commitment to doing things differently for our colleagues and customers. Today, we are the clear market leader with a presence in 22 markets and sales of €3bn in 2022. Our customers include some of the biggest names in manufacturing, the SMEs that form the backbone of industry and everything in-between. More than a mover of boxes, we use our specialist knowledge and technical expertise to deliver products and services that keep production lines moving. Right now, there are 9,000 of us and counting. Weve disrupted and we have grown, but were not finished yet. The Role Due to promotion this key Management role has become available, taking charge of the rapidly growing Rubix Customer Hub based at our Wolverhampton National Distribution Centre. Our Customer Hub is a bespoke operation, processing and reconciling orders from 6 major national contracts, many of them household names. Its a vibrant atmosphere with 23 team members operating multiple ways of working and processes. Largely dealing with internal customers on our customers sites the ability to drive large volumes of work with a personal touch is key As Hub Branch Business Manager, you will drive productivity, growth and profit improvement in the management of contractual spend and be responsible for the consistent delivery of products to meet customer contractual KPIs. You will, ideally, be from an Industrial/Engineering background and will have strong communication and people management skills to help drive the continued successful execution of our business strategy. To be successful as the Hub Branch Business Manager you will have: A proven track record in the business-to-business services preferably in the management of large customer service teams showing an operating knowledge of both sales and operations. Analytical, process and system biased, you should be able to recognise opportunities for refinement and consolidation within the operation Experience of managing a Customer Service Hub operation would certainly be advantageous Strong knowledge of Sales Order Processing systems is a prerequisite The ability to use basic software to analyse, spot trends in performance and implement new ways of working Management of teams including recruitment, training, development, motivation and performance management Profit and cost centre management accountability. Customer relationship management experience and a strong customer service ethos. Demonstrate knowledge and experience of profit engineering contracts and services. An effective working style to ensure strong and collaborative relationships exist within other business functions – which is key to the success within our matrix organisation. Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills An individual who will gain credibility and win respect across the organisation.
