Workshop Engineer (Motors) The Role Permanent Full Time Deritend, part of the Rubix Group, was founded in 1898 and serves more than 3,500 customers in the UK and boasts a blue-chip client base that includes some of the largest manufacturers and best known brands in the world. We specialise in optimising asset performance, including motors, gear boxes, pumps, machining induction, condition monitoring and fabrication services. The purpose of the role is to inspect, identify problems, strip and repair motor and gear boxes to the required customer standards. Ensure plant maintenance is carried out and recorded. Carry out workplace risk assessments and method statements where necessary. Refurbishment of pumps and rotating equipment including stripping & painting. Ensure workshop presentation standards are maintained and working area is cleaned regularly. Ensure quality of work is in line with customer expectations. Strip and inspection procedures of all parts to be followed. Ensure that all company H&S policies and procedures are followed to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues. C&G Mechanical Fitting H03 & H25 or equivalent. Driving license
