We specialise in optimising asset performance, including motors, gear boxes, pumps, machining induction, condition monitoring and fabrication services.
The purpose of the role is to inspect, identify problems, strip and repair motor and gear boxes to the required customer standards.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out the inspection and fault analysis, on all types of pumps, pumping systems, pipe work and associated equipment
- Sourcing components
- Completing repairs
- Testing repaired items
- Developing test equipment and procedures
- Preparing fault / repair reports
- Liaising with suppliers
- Liaising with customer for fault identification
- Producing recommendations for replacement with new item
- Maintaining test kit, tools and workshop
- Presentation of returned items to desired standards
- Presenting a tidy workshop and workspace
- Working within the Deritend QA workshop procedures, method statements and risk assessments
- An experienced electro/mechanical, pump or pipe fitter
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical repair techniques
- Knowledge of a broad range of test equipment
- Excellent communication skills
