We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager, known internally as Regional Account Manager to join our team, driving share of wallet and new business within the Luton area. This is a varied role with plenty of room to make it your own. As well as delivering an exceptional standard of service to customers, you’ll be responsible for driving new business growth.
Our Regional Account Managers work with some of the biggest names in the manufacturing sector to ensure they have the parts, spares, PPE and tools that they need to remain operational. You will build customer relationships within your patch, increase customer spend, and identify new customers to grow and develop. You will take ownership of your sales pipeline and work with manufacturers, suppliers and internal product specialists to improve your customers’ businesses by reducing costs and improving production efficiency. This is a great opportunity to help improve UK manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Build customer relationships within your patch and increase customer spend.
- Identify and grow new customers to drive business.
- Take ownership of your sales pipeline and work with manufacturers, suppliers and internal product specialists to improve customers' businesses by reducing costs and improving production efficiency.
- Use a CRM system and KPIs to manage and grow your territory and customer spend.
Qualifications:
- Ideally you will have some background in manufacturing, MRO, PPE or a trade environment. Full training will be provided, so don’t let this stop you from applying.
- Strong account management experience and ability to work as part of a team.
