Role Overview
As an Insite Manager (Stores Purchasing Manager), you will be a key part of the team, contributing to its success. Ideally, you will have a background in purchasing or stores management within manufacturing, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul spares, PPE, or a trade counter environment. Responsibilities
- Support sourcing of stock and non-stock items based on customer requirements.
- Ensure consistent delivery of customer service across inventory and purchasing.
- Manage and support a junior staff member within the stores.
- Achieve cost reduction savings compared to previous suppliers and OEMs.
- Assist customer site personnel with inquiries and issues.
- Coordinate site visits with supply partners to identify value-added activities.
- Proactively seek profitable opportunities on-site by liaising with various departments.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues.
- Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks.
- Experience in purchasing or stores management, with transferable skills.
- Leadership experience or understanding of team management.
