Rubix Valve Technology is a specialist channel focused on the supply of engineered valves and ancillary products into high-value project-based customers. The Technical Manager will contribute towards high rates of added-value, technically differentiated growth by delivering high quality, innovative solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure comprehensive and compliant product definition for both standardised ranges, configured assemblies, and bespoke solutions.
  • Capture intellectual property through CAD design (Solidworks & Revit), testing, and ERP system load.
  • Follow structured design, development, quotation, and change control processes capturing inputs, outputs, validation, and verification steps in line with departmental procedures contained within the Quality Management System.
  • Support sales through the generation of technical proposals that clearly explain the features and benefits of the value-added solutions generated.
  • Manage departmental key processes to ensure effective support to sales functions and sustainable sales growth.
  • Use finite element analysis (F.E.A.), mathematical calculation, and simulation tools to minimise design iterations required to achieve functional design.
  • Act as the technical authority in the execution of valve configuration and repair services.
  • Operate within and maintain a culture of Quality and Quality Improvement.
  • Protect the brand integrity of exclusive brand products.
  • Contribute positively to customer satisfaction and establish and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent technical knowledge of valves and pressurised equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a consultative approach to customers.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
