Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily/weekly production and engineering meetings to understand site priorities, planned maintenance, and operational requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality stores management services, including accurate stock cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and corrective actions to maintain stock integrity.
  • Consistently meet agreed customer service levels, KPIs, and site-specific performance targets.
  • Work closely with site teams to plan, forecast, and manage stock levels in line with operational needs, ensuring efficient replenishment and timely order processing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, negotiating pricing and delivery terms to support cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to customer and supplier enquiries, expedite orders, and maintain accurate records across inventory and ERP systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the stores function, including housekeeping, stock layout optimisation, and process enhancements.

Reporting into the Customer Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our Insite customer support team – the go-to person for all things stores, stock, and supply. If you thrive in a busy environment where organisation and accuracy matter, you’ll feel right at home. Experience in manufacturing, MRO, PPE, warehousing, or trade counter operations is ideal, but not essential; full training will be provided. Our mission is simple: to ensure our customers always have the parts, spares, consumables, and tooling they need to keep their operations running smoothly. You’ll also support us in securing the best value from suppliers through smart purchasing and strong relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a stores, warehouse, stock control, materials management, or customer-facing operational role, ideally within MRO, engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and ERP/stock management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach and strong housekeeping standards.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of stock and data management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and manage workload effectively.
