We are an award-winning care home and nursing facility, based in Aberdeen’s West End. We deliver exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care for up to 86 residents.
Contract: Up to £26.50 per hour – depending on experience
Hours: Contracted to 40 hours per week – 5 × 8 hour shifts per week
Benefits: Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided, 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract), Paid NMC fees
Role Overview: As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and performance of the home, working in close partnership with the Home Manager to drive clinical excellence, regulatory compliance and high quality care delivery. This is a senior leadership position where you will take responsibility for the clinical oversight of the service and ensure standards are consistently achieved and sustained.
You will lead on all aspects of clinical governance, care planning, medication management and risk, ensuring care is safe, effective and person-centred. You will monitor performance, carry out audits, support inspections and take ownership of continuous improvement, ensuring the home operates in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
You will provide visible, hands-on leadership to the nursing and care teams, supporting, mentoring and developing staff to deliver high quality outcomes. Acting as Deputy to the Home Manager, you will confidently oversee the service in their absence, manage day-to-day operations and make informed decisions that support both residents and staff.

- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience within a care setting
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Experience in clinical governance, audits and compliance
