As a Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting mechanical design activities with a strong focus on DFM and DFA throughout NPI
- Leading mechanical workstreams to ensure products are ready for build, scale, and release
- Collaborating with electrical and software engineers on electromechanical test jigs and tooling
- Defining and documenting mechanical build procedures and assembly instructions
- Providing hands-on support during NPI builds, including root cause analysis and ECN activity
As a Mechanical Engineer, your experience will include:
- A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Strong 3D CAD capability, ideally using SolidWorks or similar
- A solid understanding of DFM, DFA, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material selection
- Experience transitioning products from prototype into low to medium volume production
- The ability to produce and interpret 2D manufacturing drawings to BS8888 standards
