Responsibilities
- Preparing precise cost estimates, quotations, and work instructions based on customer drawings and specifications
- Planning manufacturing processes, routings, and material requirements
- Liaising with customers to clarify technical requirements and delivery expectations
- Working with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical data
- Supporting projects through contract review and pre-production manufacturing documentation
- Identifying risks, costs, and process improvements through strong understanding of technical drawings and BOMs
Requirements / Experience
- Proven experience as a Pre Production Engineer or similar manufacturing engineering position
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs
- Competence in preparing quotations, costings, or manufacturing instructions
- Experience working with production, quality, engineering, or sales teams
- A methodical, precise, and structured working style aligned with high-blue technical engineering profiles
- Confidence communicating with customers and suppliers regarding technical detail
