Working as a Toolmaker, you will play a key role in producing high-quality bespoke tooling and components, taking full responsibility for your work from drawing to finished part.
As a Toolmaker, you will benefit from:

As a Toolmaker, your responsibilities will include:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture components accurately
- Producing bespoke jigs and fixtures to meet machining requirements
- Operating and programming an XYZ ProtoTRAK SM milling machine
- Operating manual milling machines and lathes
- Inspecting your own work to ensure components meet ISO9001 Standard
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adhering to Health & Safety procedures
As a Toolmaker, your experience will include:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in manual machining, including milling and turning
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical, quality-driven approach
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Confidence working to deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and develop as a Toolmaker
Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with an early finish on Friday at 2:00pm.
