You'll be the link between the drawing, the quote and the quality file, no two days quite the same. This is a role where your accuracy is genuinely relied on, not just appreciated. There's plenty of room here to shape the role as you grow into it.
As a Sales & Quality Assistant, you will benefit from:

Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and populate customer quotations using drawings, specifications and internal pricing
- Liaise with sub-contract suppliers to gather the information needed for quotes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and basic manufacturing requirements
- Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and quality documentation
- Record dimensional and inspection results accurately against drawings and customer requirements
- Keep documentation complete, traceable and correctly filed
Your experience will include:
- A background in engineering or manufacturing, or a strong interest in the sector
- Comfortable reading and understanding technical drawings
- Experience with welding, fabrication, quality documentation or quotations is an advantage, though full training is provided
- Strong numeracy and a genuine eye for detail
- Confidence using Excel to record and maintain accurate data
