Real campaigns. Real events. Real content that brings people in and work you'll be proud to put your name to. Rubicon Recruitment is hiring a Marketing Assistant to join our in‑house team in Poole, supporting a fast‑paced recruitment business with a big reputation (and even bigger plans).

Why this Marketing Assistant role exists: We need a Marketing Assistant who is organised, creative and commercially switched on, someone who enjoys getting stuck in, learning quickly, and seeing their work out in the world. You'll be led and supported by a Head of Marketing function, who will coach you through campaigns, events, and day‑to‑day marketing activity so you build confidence, capability, and a breadth of work you're proud of.

What you’ll be doing as the Marketing Assistant

  • Supporting both digital and traditional marketing activity
  • Creating and scheduling engaging content across social platforms
  • Creating designs for digital and print using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Supporting candidate attraction and lead generation activity
  • Updating our website (WordPress)
  • Helping organise events and capturing promotional content

What you’ll bring

  • A genuine interest in marketing, social media, and how businesses grow
  • Strong written communication and confident verbal communication
  • Basic design and/or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar)
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, and email marketing
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn (you'll bring the energy)
