As an Aerospace Inspector, you will benefit from: The chance to deputise for the Quality Manager, broadening your experience and visibility within the team Training provided on Aberlink CMM and Keyence optical measurement systems if needed Autonomy to make sound quality decisions while remaining part of a wider team Exposure to internal audit processes, supporting your development towards AS9100 / ISO9001 competency As an Aerospace Inspector, your responsibilities will include: Inspect aerospace and defence components against engineering drawings and specifications Produce First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with EN9102 Rev C Carry out in-process, final and incoming inspections using a range of measurement tools Operate and interpret data from an Aberlink Axiom CMM and Keyence optical measurement system Conduct and support Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations for non-conformances Liaise confidently with suppliers, customers and internal teams to maintain quality standards As an Aerospace Inspector, your experience will include: Proven experience in aerospace, defence, or precision manufacturing Good knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 and associated industry standards Experience producing FAIRs to EN9102 Rev C standards Familiarity with CMMs, ideally Aberlink, and visual/optical inspection systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to quality issues A formal quality or inspection certification (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) would be an advantage If you're ready to bring your inspection expertise to a business that genuinely values precision and quality, this is a role where your standards will be put to great use.
