Benefits

  • Four-day working week, Monday to Thursday, 39 hours
  • Optional overtime on Fridays from 6:30am to 12pm, paid at x1.5
  • Core hours between 6am and 6pm, with a required start by 8am and finish from 4:30pm
  • 195 hours annual leave plus Bank Holidays, equivalent to 25 days
  • Christmas shutdown from 22nd December to New Year
  • Additional shutdown in May, with holiday allocated for this period
  • Company sick pay after one year of service, paid at four hours per day
  • One structured pay review per year
  • A clean, organised, and process-driven precision engineering environment

Responsibilities

  • Programming and running Aberlink CMMs, with significant CMM machine time
  • Conducting first-off, in-process, and final inspections on CNC machined components
  • Providing clear dimensional feedback to the CNC machining team
  • Using a range of manual inspection tools to verify tight tolerances
  • Completing accurate inspection reports and quality documentation

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CMM Programmer using Aberlink software
  • Background in CNC machining or a precision engineering environment
  • Confident use of manual inspection equipment including micrometers and verniers
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD
