Are you a qualified electrician with a passion for renewable energy and a knack for keeping complex projects running smoothly? This is a permanent role with a well-established contractor in the construction and solar energy sector, where your technical knowledge and coordination skills will directly shape the quality of solar installations from design through to handover.

As an Electrical Solar Coordinator, you will benefit from:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the primary client point of contact for all Solar PV enquiries from tender stage through to project handover
  • Providing technical design and coordination of Solar PV system layouts, primarily for commercial rooftop installations using AutoCAD
  • Managing DNO applications and coordinating system commissioning
  • Liaising with the site installation team, subcontractors, and project coordinators to ensure smooth sequencing and compliance
  • Keeping current with Solar PV developments, standards, and emerging technology

Your experience will include:

  • NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent, plus 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Sound understanding of Solar PV installation sequences, testing stages, and system compliance
  • Experience coordinating projects and managing client relationships in a technical environment
  • Confident IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, with AutoCAD experience beneficial
  • Full driving licence and willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate
