As a Manual Machinist, you will benefit from:
- Working hours of 7:30 to 4:30 Monday to Thursday and 8:00 to 2:00 on Fridays
- 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, with 3 days reserved for the Christmas shutdown
- Safety glasses provided

- 6‑month probation period

As a Manual Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
- Producing precision components using manual lathes and milling machines from detailed technical drawings

- Supporting the upkeep of a clean, organised, and safe workshop
- Completing a mixture of one‑off jobs and small batch work with accuracy and independence
As a Manual Machinist, your experience will include:
- Proven background as a Manual Machinist, Turner, or Miller, supported by relevant engineering qualifications
- Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working to fine tolerances and using precision measuring equipment
- Strong understanding of materials, tooling, and safe machining practices
- CNC turning experience would be beneficial, though training can be provided
- A self‑motivated, quality‑focused approach to your work
