- Operating a selection of metal working machines or supporting processes
- Specifically drilling, brazing or welding
- Processing steel to customers' requirements and tolerances
- Light maintenance of machines and ensuring that issues are amended or reported
- General inspection of your own work, ensuring standards are maintained
