As Quality Inspector, you will be part of a company that designs and manufactures bespoke drive systems and distributes high‑quality components across the UK. Responsibilities:
- Conducting first‑off, roving, and final inspections of components and assemblies
- Creating and maintaining programs and processes for automated measurement equipment
- Liaising with other departments on engineering issues and participating in technical discussions
- Segregating defect parts, reviewing and collating inspection data
- Providing regular feedback on tasks and productivity, and flagging issues early
- Supporting general administration, housekeeping, and company H&S and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast‑paced engineering environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and terminology
- Skilled in using measurement tools including callipers, micrometres, height gauges, and shadow graphs
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Aware of Health & Safety practices
