As Quality Control Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
First off and stage inspection of detailed machined components
Creating and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102
Batch inspection using manual techniques (micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
Goods received inspection of treated parts
Conducting patrol audits to monitor manufacturing processes
Calibration and control of measuring equipment
As Quality Control Inspector, your experience will include:
Interpreting detailed engineering drawings with geometric tolerances
Manual inspection of machined parts in a machine shop environment
Producing FAIRs to AS9102 standards
Strong understanding of machining practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Experience operating or running a CMM (desirable)
