Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling and testing electro-mechanical components to work instructions and quality procedures
- Carrying out electrical safety testing and calibration using standard test equipment
- Assembling, packing, labelling and inspecting consumable and reagent products
- Processing orders through the ERP system
- Performing routine cycle counts and maintaining an organised work cell
- Supporting continuous improvement within a lean manufacturing environment
Your experience will include:
- Previous experience in light production assembly, kitting and packing
- Experience working in a cleanroom or laboratory environment desirable
- Experience using MRP/ERP systems advantageous
- Working knowledge of a quality system driven environment (ISO 9001 or similar) desirable
- Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail
- GCSE qualifications or equivalent
