Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trailers within the Poole site
- Assisting with operating machinery and the shot blaster when trained
- Driving the shunter and pickup truck for collections and deliveries
- Sorting fittings in the fitting shop and supporting general labouring duties
- Managing tools and equipment using the Hilti On Track App and keeping the yard clean and tidy
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labouring or yard-based role (desirable)
- Ability to operate machinery safely once trained
- A valid driving licence for site vehicle use
- Experience using a forklift (valid licence preferred)
- Experience with heavy lifting and safe manual handling practices
- Experience operating an overhead gantry crane (training or certification desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
- Flexibility to take on varied tasks across the site
