As a Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the day to day finance function, including purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
  • Support the transition from Sage 200 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, KPIs and margin and profitability analysis
  • Manage VAT returns, payroll liaison and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Help define reporting requirements, controls and processes, becoming the internal finance systems expert
  • Support departmental managers with clear, accurate financial information

As a Finance Manager, your experience will include:

  • Solid management accounting experience with a strong understanding of day to day finance processes
  • Experience preparing management accounts, with strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
  • AAT Level 4 or another recognised accounting qualification
  • Experience within manufacturing or engineering environments is desirable
  • Sage and/or Business Central experience, and exposure to system implementation or process improvement, would be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
