As a Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Own the day to day finance function, including purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
- Support the transition from Sage 200 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Prepare monthly management accounts, KPIs and margin and profitability analysis
- Manage VAT returns, payroll liaison and balance sheet reconciliations
- Help define reporting requirements, controls and processes, becoming the internal finance systems expert
- Support departmental managers with clear, accurate financial information
As a Finance Manager, your experience will include:
- Solid management accounting experience with a strong understanding of day to day finance processes
- Experience preparing management accounts, with strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
- AAT Level 4 or another recognised accounting qualification
- Experience within manufacturing or engineering environments is desirable
- Sage and/or Business Central experience, and exposure to system implementation or process improvement, would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
