Responsibilities
- Programming Mazak mill turn machines using Mazatrol and ISO G-code
- Setting and proving out jobs on Mazak Quick Turn, Nexus, Smooth or Integrex machines
- Running CNC mill turn operations to produce precision components within tight tolerances
- Performing first‑off and in‑process inspections using micrometers, verniers and gauges
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area in line with 5S standards
Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years’ CNC mill turn programming experience with proven ability to program, set and operate Mazak machines
- Strong knowledge of Mazatrol and/or Smooth controls, plus ISO G-code editing
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T
- Understanding of cutting speeds, feeds and tool geometry for various materials
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and maintaining quality standards
