Responsibilities

  • Programming Mazak mill turn machines using Mazatrol and ISO G-code
  • Setting and proving out jobs on Mazak Quick Turn, Nexus, Smooth or Integrex machines
  • Running CNC mill turn operations to produce precision components within tight tolerances
  • Performing first‑off and in‑process inspections using micrometers, verniers and gauges
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work area in line with 5S standards

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years’ CNC mill turn programming experience with proven ability to program, set and operate Mazak machines
  • Strong knowledge of Mazatrol and/or Smooth controls, plus ISO G-code editing
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Understanding of cutting speeds, feeds and tool geometry for various materials
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving and maintaining quality standards
