Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to required tolerances
- Editing Mazak and Fanuc programs as required
- Completing first-off checks and inspecting your own work to specification
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Maintaining accuracy, consistency and efficiency throughout production
Experience / Qualifications
- Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes
- Exposure to Mazak or Fanuc turning controls (training available for the right candidate)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- A methodical, detail-focused approach to machining
- A positive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement
