Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Editing programs to adjust speeds and feeds
- Producing components to ISO 9001 standards
- Completing in process inspection to maintain tolerances
- Maintaining housekeeping in line with 5S principles
Qualifications
- At least two years of CNC setting and operating experience
- Confident use of Fanuc controls including offsets, tool setting and program edits
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Experience of twin spindle or multi axis machines is beneficial
- Knowledge of Mazak is useful but not essential
