Are you an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator who enjoys precision work and producing high quality components? Do you want a day shift role offering stability, structure and long term security within a well established Engineering environment?
This is an opportunity to join a busy machine shop operating modern CNC equipment on small to medium batch work.
As a CNC Turner Setter Operator, you will benefit from:
- Permanent, full time position on a day shift (Monday - Wednesday: 07:30-16:30, Thursday 07:30-16:00 and Friday 07:30-13:00)
- Early finish every Friday

As a CNC Turner Setter Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and operating CNC turning centres using Fanuc controls
- Adjusting offsets confidently to maintain tight tolerances
- Completing in process and final quality checks using measuring instruments
- Managing tooling, including changing inserts as required
- Performing basic machine maintenance and general housekeeping
- Completing deburring and finishing operations accurately
As a CNC Turner Setter Operator, your experience will include:
- A minimum of 2 years setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working within a precision Engineering or Manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confidence working independently and within a small team
- A proactive approach to problem solving on the shop floor
