Responsibilities:
- Programming Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol and ISO G-code
- Setting and proving out jobs on Mazak Quick Turn, Nexus, Smooth, or Integrex machines
- Running CNC turning operations to produce precision components within tight tolerances
- Performing first-off and in-process inspections using micrometers, verniers, and gauges
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area in line with 5S standards
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of CNC turning experience with proven ability to program, set, and operate Mazak machines
- Strong knowledge of Mazatrol and/or Smooth controls, plus ISO G-code editing
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD
