Shifts and hours

  • Day shift hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30; Friday 07:30-12:30
  • Night shift hours: Monday to Thursday 15:30-01:45
  • Shift allowance: +33%

Responsibilities

  • Programming and editing NC programmes
  • Setting and running CNC milling centres (including 5-axis machines)
  • Producing parts to drawing specifications
  • Completing quality and OEE records
  • Preventing FOD contamination
  • Creating and updating setup sheets

Qualifications and experience

  • Time-served apprenticeship
  • Minimum 5 years' aerospace experience
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with FANUC and Mazak controls
  • Experience working on 5-axis CNC milling machines in a busy sub-contract machine shop
