CNC Machinist | Poole | £34,000
Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who takes pride in delivering precision and consistency across every component you produce? Do you enjoy an environment where you can work independently, maintain high standards and contribute to continuous improvement? This long‑term opportunity sits within a stable and well‑structured manufacturing environment.
You will be joining a business that invests in modern machinery, quality processes and the ongoing development of its people. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a key part in ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Hours: 07:00am to 15:00pm, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour week

Responsibilities
- Producing precision components to specification using CNC, semi‑CNC and manual machinery
- Programming, setting and operating CNC machines to achieve right first time output
- Working to production schedules and meeting agreed deadlines
- Following Health and Safety and internal quality standards
- Identifying and resolving machining issues promptly
- Supporting improvements within the machining function
Requirements
- At least five years of machining experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of CNC milling, turning and general machining processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Confident fault finding and problem solving
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Experience with Hurco or Fanuc controls would be beneficial
