Responsibilities
- Carrying out visual and dimensional inspection of components and finished products
- Using inspection equipment such as verniers, calipers, micrometers and gauges
- Working from engineering drawings, job cards and work instructions
- Completing inspection records, quality reports and production paperwork
- Identifying, reporting and segregating non-conforming products
- Supporting in-process quality checks to reduce defects
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Controller within manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail with a consistent, accurate approach
- Confidence completing quality documentation and records
- The ability to raise quality issues clearly and professionally
- Experience reading engineering drawings
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
