As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and operating Siemens‑controlled CNC lathes, including lights‑out running
  • Following machining processes to ensure all components meet specification
  • Changing tooling and adjusting offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy
  • Escalating machine issues and supporting corrective actions
  • Achieving and logging daily output targets
  • Self‑inspection of finished parts

As a CNC Turner, your experience will include:

  • A metal cutting background
  • CNC turning experience on Siemens controls
  • Experience with twin spindle, twin turret or multi‑turret turning equipment
  • Confident interpretation of engineering drawings
  • Ability to complete tooling changes and accurate offset adjustments
  • Ideally completion of an engineering apprenticeship and long term experience in a similar turning role
