A Weymouth based Printer is looking to add to their team of skilled technicians. Owing to the rarity of the skills required we’d be keen to talk with individuals familiar with machine setup and related duties. Responsibilities

• Preparing the press for printing, including web-up and plate fitting
• Operating the press and monitoring print quality (inking density, registration)
• Loading and operating reel equipment and managing paper usage data
• Performing press cleaning and scheduled maintenance tasks
• Maintaining accurate production records and minimising wastage

Experience and Skills

• Previous experience in printing or mechanical operations (sheet-fed or web-offset lithographic presses advantageous)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work flexibly to meet production schedules
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Reasonable level of physical fitness for manual tasks
