We are looking for students studying a STEM subject to work as Summer Assemblers in Poole. This role offers Monday‑to‑Friday hours and paid overtime at premium rates.

Responsibilities

  • Building and testing bespoke and stock products to defined standards
  • Assembling a range of components, including circuit boards and cabling, to tight tolerances
  • Using hand tools and soldering techniques accurately and consistently
  • Operating test equipment to verify functionality
  • Following workflow instructions and technical drawings with precision

Qualifications / Experience

  • Confidence using hand tools, whether through studies, hobby, or previous work
  • Interest in electronics, engineering, or technology, e.g., STEM course or personal project
  • Practical experience demonstrating dexterity and attention to detail, such as PC building, model making, Warhammer, Airfix, or similar
  • Previous experience in an electrical, mechanical, or production environment is a bonus but not essential
