- Design and maintain quality assurance protocols for materials and finished products
- Develop inspection and testing methods to evaluate production accuracy and precision
- Analyse production data and reports to identify trends and recommend standard updates
- Lead investigations into nonconformances, customer complaints and improvement projects
- Assure compliance with in-house and external standards including AS9100, ISO and Six Sigma
As a Quality Engineer, your experience will include:
- Previous experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem solving and investigation skills, ideally using DMAIC or 8D
- Ability to understand highly technical products and components
- Comfortable managing conflicting demands and building relationships across a business
- Internal audit experience and some exposure to Lean 6 Sigma would be an advantage
