Office based role, commutable from Yeovil, Shaftesbury, Stourpaine, Wincanton and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities- Quality Reporting β Update senior management on quality issues, lead quality meetings, manage KPIs, and coordinate corrective actions across sites.
- Customer Quality β Handle customer complaints, drive corrective actions, ensure documentation accuracy, and reduce repeat issues.
- Quality Systems β Maintain and enforce ISO/IATF/AS/NADCAP compliance, lead audits, and act as main accreditation contact.
- Financial β Report quality-related costs, rejects, replacements, and credits accurately and on time.
- People β Lead and develop quality staff, conduct appraisals, and arrange required training.
- New Products β Support new business through feasibility, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and validation activities.
- Calibration β Manage calibration systems, schedules, and costs.
- Continuous Improvement β Drive continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Health & Safety β Ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Proven background in quality management within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ISO and IATF standards (AS & NADCAP desirable).
- Experience managing audits and liaising with accreditation bodies.
- Ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional projects.
- Competence in PPAP, FMEA, and control plan development.
