Responsibilities
- Setting out, fabricating, and welding steel components to precise tolerances
- Performing MIG welding and welding to BS 3834 standard
- Working safely at all times and adhering to company health and safety policies
- Ensuring all fabricated items are correctly stamped, tagged, and logged in STRUMIS
- Reviewing drawings for complex fabrications to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Experience / Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding within the construction or structural steel industry
- Strong MIG welding skills and ability to work to high standards
- Ability to work independently and interpret technical drawings
- Competence in welding to BS 3834 standard
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
