As a Stores Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Packing and despatching goods accurately and on time
- Verifying incoming stock, components, and assemblies on goods inward
- Kitting materials to production job cards and managing stock rotation
- Operating and maintaining the forklift truck in line with health and safety standards
- Completing stocktakes and maintaining accurate records on the stock database
- Keeping the stores area clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety requirements.
As a Stores Operative, your experience will include:
- A valid forklift licence is essential for this role
- Previous experience in a stores, despatch, or warehouse environment, ideally within manufacturing
