As a Stores Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Packing and despatching goods accurately and on time
  • Verifying incoming stock, components, and assemblies on goods inward
  • Kitting materials to production job cards and managing stock rotation
  • Operating and maintaining the forklift truck in line with health and safety standards
  • Completing stocktakes and maintaining accurate records on the stock database
  • Keeping the stores area clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety requirements.

As a Stores Operative, your experience will include:

  • A valid forklift licence is essential for this role
  • Previous experience in a stores, despatch, or warehouse environment, ideally within manufacturing
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
