You’ll join a small, friendly office team in a focused environment, supporting smooth day-to-day operations across the office and production workflow. About the Role
You’ll be central to keeping orders moving, customers informed, and documentation accurate, helping the business run efficiently every day. The standard hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, and Friday 7:30am – 12:30.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and direct queries professionally
- Communicate with customers and suppliers via phone and email
- Enter new orders into the system and generate job cards for shop‑floor production
- Create delivery notes and ensure accurate documentation is included
- Maintain and respond to customer order books
- Update and manage internal production schedules
- Scan and save documents (delivery notes, work orders, supplier paperwork, inspection reports)
- Use the MRP system to allocate material to laser‑cut parts
- Create new parts on the system for quotation purposes
- Carry out general office duties (photocopying, filing, etc.)
- Organise couriers and manage outgoing post via Royal Mail / DHL
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software
- MRP experience is beneficial but not essential—full training provided
- A positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to support the wider team
