As a SMT Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, running, and monitoring Europlacer SMT placement machines to meet output and quality targets
- Completing product changeovers efficiently and accurately to keep production on schedule
- Carrying out basic fault‑finding and escalating issues promptly to minimise downtime
- Performing routine checks and adjustments to maintain consistent placement quality
- Following build instructions and process documentation to ensure standards are met
- Keeping the work area organised and supporting continuous improvement on the line
As a SMT Technician, your experience will include:
- Essential, recent Europlacer machine experience within an SMT production environment
- 3+ years of consistent, relevant SMT experience, ideally within high‑throughput manufacturing
- Confidence working at pace while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- A practical, reliable approach, with the ability to spot issues early and act quickly
- Comfortable working in an active role, on your feet for most of the day
