Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce accurate quotations
- Complete quotations within agreed timescales
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements and pricing
- Apply knowledge of machine tool capabilities and production methods to each quote
- Work closely with the team to reach pricing that works for both business and customer
- React quickly and calmly to shifting business priorities
Your experience will include:
- Apprentice trained, time served engineer with hands on manufacturing experience
- Both turning and milling experience within CNC machining
- Proven background in a busy sub-contract machine shop environment
- Experience working within an AS9100 or similar quality environment
- Involvement in continuous improvement and process change projects
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, including Excel
