Are you a Quality Manager who thrives in a structured, process‑driven environment where accuracy and methodical thinking are valued? Responsibilities

  • Leading the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and customer‑specific requirements
  • Driving quality strategy, KPIs and governance across the Blandford site (with travel to Poole when required)
  • Overseeing APQP and ensuring accurate, on‑time PPAP submissions
  • Implementing in‑process quality controls, including audits, error‑proofing and process capability studies
  • Managing customer and supplier quality performance, including complaints, audits and corrective actions
  • Reducing scrap, rework and cost of poor quality through data‑driven problem solving

Experience

  • Leadership experience within manufacturing quality management
  • Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and MSA
  • Hands‑on experience with metrology, GD&T, jigs, fixtures and capability analysis
  • Exposure to processes such as forming, fabricating, welding, machining or assembly
  • Confident customer‑facing communication and supplier development skills
  • A structured, analytical approach to problem solving using tools such as 8D and 5‑Why
